APSPDCL Notification 2017-Apply Director (Finance) apspdcl.in: Southern Power Distribution Company of A.P Limited invites applications for filling the posts of Director (Finance). APSPDCL was incorporated under the Indian Companies Act 1956 and is a wholly owned State Government Company. The Company is presently engaged in Distribution of Electricity.Candidates with prescribed Qualification and experience can apply through offline. Eligible Candidates can apply for the post before 16/09/2017.

1	Director (Finance).	01	The applicant shall not be above 62 years of age as on the date of notification.	The person shall have minimum Bachelors/equivalent degree in the subject directly relevant to the position.	1) The person shall have atleast 15 years of experience in the field relevant to the position. AND 2) The person shall have at least 25 years of professional experience with any State / Central Government and/or Government undertaking. Such person shall also have completed three years of minimum combined service in the categories of Chief General Manager and General Manager together or  three years of minimum experience in the categories of Chief General Manager/Executive Director or an equivalent rank in the State Government / Public Sector Undertakings etc. AND 3) The person shall have minimum Bachelor’s / equivalent Degree in the subject directly relevant to the position.(For. ex: a person who can be eligible for the position of Director, Finance shall have at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce or an equivalent subject. Qualified chartered accountants and company secretaries can also be considered as eligible persons.) 4) The individuals who apply for the Director post should have Director Identification Number.

Tenure of appointee: Directors shall be selected initially for a term of Two years. The Tenure of the appointee may be extended for a period of One year at a time up to a maximum of Two years extensions. All decisions related to the extension of tenure shall be made after the approval of the competent authority with the recommendation of the Selection Committee based on the yearly assessment report of the Director. Candidates with outstanding assessment only should be considered for re-appointment.

Selection Process: The selection of candidates will be done by the scrutiny of applications. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the verification and appointment process.

List of Documents to be attached to the application:

1) Up-to-date and complete Confidential Report (CR) dossiers in original / attested Xerox copies of last five years Annual Confidential Reports (ACR) of the candidate.

2) Integrity Certificate.

3) Vigilance Clearance including certification that no disciplinary proceedings or criminal proceedings are either pending or contemplated against the officer concerned.

4) List of major/minor penalities, if any, imposed on the candidates during the last ten years / No penality certificate.
