The Commission has been established as a statutory body entrusted with the responsibility to prevent practices having adverse effect on competition, to promote and sustain competition in markets, to protect interests of consumers and to ensure freedom of trade carried on by other participants in markets, in India, and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto .Eligible candidates can apply through downloading online application and sending it through Offline. Age Relaxation: Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST-5 years, OBC- 3 years, and Differently abled persons- 10 years.
Fee: An application fee of Rs. 600/- is to be paid through DD or through bank payable at Delhi. SC, ST, PH and Women candidates are exempted from payment of the fee.
Selection process:
All the applications received will be verified based on minimum educational qualifications and experience criteria prescribed. Shortlisted candidates will be called for written test that will be held on 29/10/2017. The selection process consists of two parts – written test & interview. Out of total 100 marks of the selection process, 80 marks assigned for the written test and 20 marks assigned to interview. The first part of the exam contains objective type questions. It tests the general knowledge, comprehension skills and writing skills of the candidates. The second part deals with the descriptive writing process. The questions in the second part will be on the professional subject depending on which the candidate has applied for.

The lists of Certificates to be attached to the application are:
i) Matriculation or equivalent certificate in support of their declaration of age.
Degree or Diploma Certificate
ii) If the qualification possessed by the candidate is equivalent, then the authority under which it has been so treated must be indicated.
iii) Certificate(s) from the Head(s) of Organization(s)/Department(s) for the entire experience claimed, clearly mentioning the duration of employment (date, month & year) indicating the basic pay and consolidated pay.
iv) A candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes has to submit an attested copy of a certificate in the prescribed form issued by the Competent Authority in support of his/her claim.
v) A candidate who claims to belong to one of the Other Backward Classes has to submit in support of his/her claim an attested copy of a valid certificate in the prescribed form issued by the competent authority specified by the Govt. in their O.M. No. 36012/22/93-Estt. (SC) dated 22.10.93.
