Selection Process: There is no written test for the selection process.
Graduate Apprentice Trainees (B.E/B.Tech./Equivalent): Selection of candidates will be carried out by the short listing of candidates on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and vacancies available in the discipline followed by an interview.
Diploma Apprentice Trainees/ ITI Apprentice Trainees: There would be no interview for Diploma and ITI trades. Candidates would be selected based only on the marks obtained in the qualifying exam subject to satisfactory medical fitness.
Medical Fitness: The candidate should possess satisfactory health. Candidates finally selected will have to produce Fitness Certificate as per GTRE specific format during joining issued by an authorized Medical officer of any Government Hospital. Certificate issued by ESIC hospitals will not be accepted.
How to apply: Registration of BE/BTech/Diploma candidates on www.mhrdnats.gov.in and ITI candidates on NCVT MIS portal (https://ncvtmis.gov.in) is mandatory. DRDO is formed in 1958. It is a small organization with 10 laboratories and Establishments. It is grown multi-directionally in terms of the variety of subject disciplines, number of laboratories, achievements, and stature.
