IB Recruitment 2017-Apply Online for 1300 ACIO-II/ Exe Posts mha.nic.in: Intelligence Bureau (IB), Ministry of Home affairs, Government of India invites applications for filling the posts of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (Grade- II/Executive).Eligible candidates can apply with prescribed qualification and experience through online website www.mha.nic.in .Eligible Candidates can apply for the post between 12/08/2017 and 02/09/2017.Name of the Post: Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (Grade- II/Executive).

Fee: An application fee of Rs.100/- is to be the candidates. Only male candidates belonging to General and OBC category are required to pay the fee. All SC/ST and female candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee.

Selection Process: The appointment to the post will be temporary.

However, appointment in permanent capacity will depend on various factors governing permanent appointment in such posts in force at that time. The selection of candidates will be done by verification of applications. The shortlisted candidates will be called for Written Test (Objective and Descriptive), Interview followed by a Medical Examination. The written test will be held as Tier- I which consists of Objective type MCQs, divided into 4 parts containing 25 questions of 1 mark each on General Awareness, Quantitative aptitude, Logical/analytical ability and English language. Tier II exam is of the Descriptive type which contains Essay on one of the given topics (30 marks) &English comprehension & précis writing (20 marks). Only those candidates would be called for Tier-II exam who come up to a certain standard in Tier-I. For Tier-II examination, there will be a minimum cut off marks of 33%. Negative marking is applicable for the examination. The final selection is done for the candidates who qualified in Tier II examination. The date, Time and place of examination will be informed later to the candidates.

How to apply: Applications should be submitted online through MHA’s website www.mha.nic.in. Applications will not be accepted through any other mode. The application portal will be available from 12.8.17 to 02.9.17 till 23:59 hours. Registration is done prior to 12.8.17 and after 02.9.17 will not be accepted. The candidate has to apply by filling all the necessary details and by uploading the photo and signature of the candidates. The candidate is provided with Registration number and Roll No for further use.
