ISRO Propulsion Complex (IPRC) located at Mahendragiri, Tirunelveli District, Tamil Nadu, is the lead Centre in the area of Liquid Propulsion for ISRO’s Launch Vehicle and Spacecraft Programmes. IPRC also carries out Research & Development (R&D) and Technology Development Programmes (TDP) towards continual improvement of its contribution to the ISRO Space Programme. The notification is released with the Advertisement No. IPRC/APP/2017/01/12.08.2017.  Candidates with prescribed Qualification and experience can apply through offline. Selection Process: The selection for Apprenticeship Training will be done purely based on the percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination as entered by the candidates in the Application Form.
How to apply: Eligible candidates can apply only through offline mode. The candidates have to fill the Application Form neatly and correctly and attach self-attested copies of the certificates regarding Date of Birth, Qualification, Reservation (if any), and Previous Experience etc. The applicants have to bring the Application Form along with ORIGINALS and copies of the Certificates in-person for submitting applications to

The applications will be received from 09:00 Hrs till 13:00 Hrs on 02.09.2017 (Saturday). The applicants have to carry a valid photo ID proof, viz. Aadhar, Electoral ID etc. for security reasons, without which they will not be allowed to enter IPRC campus. Applications sent through Post / Courier / by means of other individuals will not be accepted.
How to reach IPRC, Mahendragiri:
IPRC, Mahendragiri is located near Kavalkinaru Junction which is about 22 kms away from Nagercoil in the Nagercoil–Tirunelveli National High Way. IPRC, Mahendragiri is about 500 mtrs away from Kavalkinaru Junction.
For those candidates coming from Kerala & Kanyakumari District, Nagercoil is the nearest Railway Station. Lodging facilities are available in Nagercoil. Tamil Nadu State Transport Buses proceeding to Tirunelveli/Madurai are available from Vadassery Bus Stand, Nagercoil. All these buses pass through the Kavalkinaru Junction. Get down at this Junction.
For those candidates coming from the Other States & Other Districts of Tamil Nadu touching Tirunelveli, Tirunelveli New Bus Stand is 4 km away from the Railway Station from where you will get Tamil Nadu State Transport Buses proceeding to Nagercoil. Get down at Kavalkinaru Junction which is 53 km from the Bus Station.
After reaching IPRC Main Gate, show the Application Form and ID Proof to the security personnel and they will guide you after ensuring usual security precautions.

Fee: An application fee of Rs. 100/- is to be paid when applied for the postsCandidates may make the payment ‘online’ using Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card or ‘Offline’ by visiting nearest SBI Branch. Candidates have to pay the application fee before 29.08.2017 (11.59) pm. Candidate can also pay the application fee through offline. SC, ST, PWD, Women candidates and Ex-servicemen are exempted from payment of the fee.
Selection Process: The selection of candidates is based on verification of applications. The candidates who want to appear for the written test have to take an Initial screening test. The written test will be conducted on 26.11.2017 [Sunday] at nine venues viz., Ahmadabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Kolkata, New Delhi and Thiruvananthapuram. However, the Organization reserves the right to cancel/change the written test venue and re-allot the candidates to any other test center. The call letters for written test to the short-listed candidates will be sent only through e-mail during the second/third week of November 2017. Based on the performance in the written test, candidates will be shortlisted for skill test, depending on the number of vacancies notified, the schedule and venue of which will be notified.
The written test consists of four parts viz. Part ‘A’ (50 marks)- Questions based on Motor Vehicles Act, 1939 and amendments to the Act from time to time; Part ‘B'(15 marks)-English; Part ‘C'(15 Marks) -Arithmetic and Part ‘D'(20 marks)-General Knowledge. Those who secure minimum 50% marks in Part ‘A’ and minimum 50% marks amongst Part ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ combined will be considered for short-listing for ‘Skill Test(Driving Test)’. Skill Test will be a purely go-no-go basis and marks obtained in the skill test shall not be considered for selection.
How to apply: Candidates are required to visit the Bank’s website www.isro.gov.in  and fill in the online application which is in a prescribed form. The candidate has to pay the fee and upload the photo along with the signature. Candidates will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. E-mail ID of the applicant will have to be provided in the application compulsorily. On successful submission of the application, an email confirmation regarding submission shall be sent to the candidate’s registered email id. However, the completion of application procedure is subject to receipt of ‘application fee’ (if applicable). The application is non-editable and details cannot be edited, once the application is registered. Hence, candidates are advised to verify whether, all the details entered in the application are correct, before final submission of the application.
Candidates may apply for multiple posts, subject to conditions. A candidate may apply for different posts under same/different zones, but cannot apply for the same post in different zones. For Ex: A candidate may apply for Post No. 1(LVD) in Ahmadabad Zone, Post No.2 (HVD) in Hyderabad Zone and Post No 3 (SCD) under Dept. of Space. However, he/she cannot apply for Post No. 1 (LVD) in Ahmadabad Zone and again Post No. 1 (LVD) under Hyderabad. However, such candidates should select common (same) written test center for all the posts applied for. Candidates have to make application fee paid separately for applications for different posts.
