SSC Recruitment 2017-Apply Online for 1102 Scientific Assistant ssconline.nic.in : Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will conduct F.No.3-1/2017-P&P-I an open competitive examination for recruitment to the post of Scientific Assistant in India Meteorological Department, Group-B Non-Gazetted, Non-Ministerial post. The posts carry All India Service Liability (AISL) i.e. the candidate, on selection, may be asked to serve anywhere in the country. Eligible candidates may apply online on or before 04-08-2017. Name of the Post: Scientific Assistant in India Meteorological Department
Age Limit: Applicants age limit should not be exceeding 30 years as on 04-08-2017. Age relaxation is applicable as per Government Rules.
Qualifications Required: Candidate must possess Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Physics as one of the subject)/ Computer Science/Information Technology/ Computer Applications OR Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from a recognized Institution/University or equivalent.
Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected based on the performance in Written Examination.
Scheme of Examination: The examination would comprise 200 questions carrying 200 marks for 2 hours duration. The question paper would have two parts, Part – I & Part – II of Computer Based Examination.
Part-I consists of (i) General Intelligence & Reasoning (ii) Quantitative Aptitude (iii) English language & Comprehension (iv) General Awareness
Part-II consists of Physics, Computer Science, and Information Technology, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
How to Apply: Applicants are required to visit the official website www.ssconline.nic.in and fill the online application form in the prescribed format. And Applicants have to Pay an Application fee of Rs.100/- can be paid through SBI challan/ SBI Net banking or through credit/debit cards of any bank. All women candidates and candidates belonging to SC, ST and PH categories are exempted from paying the application fee, as per extant government orders. And keep a print out of Application form for future response.

SSC Stenographer Grade “C‟ & ‘’ D” Examination 2017: The Staff Selection Commission will hold an open competitive Computer Based Examination for Recruitment of Stenographer Grade „C‟ (Group „B‟ Non-Gazetted) and Stenographer Grade „D‟(Group „C‟ Non-Gazetted) in the month of September 2017. Vacancies of Stenographer Grade „C‟ and Stenographers Grade „D‟ are in Ministries/Departments of Central Government, including their Attached/Subordinate Offices located in States and Union Territories all over the country. Eligible candidates may apply on or before 15-07-2017 up to 05:00 PM. The Computer Based Examination will be held on 04-09-2017 to 07-09-2017. Age Limit: Applicants Age should be between 18-27 years as on 01-08-2017. Age limit is applicable as per Government Rules.

Examination Scheme: SSC conducting Computer Based Examination (02 Hours). The Question paper will be of Objective Multiple Choice types. Questions will be set in Hindi and English except for Part-III. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.

Application Fee: Rs.100/- for General and OBC Category Candidates. The fee is paid through SBI Challan / SBI Net banking or through credit/ debit cards of any bank. There is no fee for SC, ST, PWD and Ex-serviceman Candidates.
How to Apply: Interested candidates may apply online through SSC Online Portal from 17/06/2017 to 15/07/2017 (up to 5.00 pm). Only one online application is allowed to be submitted by a candidate for recruitment to the post of Stenographer Grade ‘C’&’D’ Examination 2017.
