Name of the Posts: Assistants
Age: Age (as on 30.6.2017)
Minimum Age: 18 years and
Maximum Age: 28 years (as on 30.06.2017).
Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST- 5 years, OBC- 3 years, PWD(General)- 10 years, PWD (OBC)- 13 years and PWD(SC, ST)- 15 years.
Probation period: The newly appointed employees will be on probation for a minimum period of 6 months. Before the probation period comes to an end the performance of the newly recruited employees will be evaluated and the probation period of those employees whose performance fails to meet Company’s expectation, may be extended as per rules.
Fee: An application fee of Rs. 500/- is to be paid when applied for the posts. SC, ST and PWD candidates should pay Rs.100/- towards intimation charges.
Selection Process: The selection of candidates is based on verification of applications. The candidates who are shortlisted will have to attend for preliminary and main written test. Merit list will be drawn up State-wise and Category-wise.
The candidates who qualify in the Pre- recruitment Tests (Tier-I and Tier-II) should qualify in the Regional Language Test also subsequently. The Preliminary Examination (Online Objective Test) is for 100 marks conducted for one hour. Candidates qualifying the test will be eligible for Tier-II examination. The Main Examination (Online Objective Test) for 250 marks will be conducted for Two hours duration. Final selection will be made on the basis of performance in the Online Main Examination subject to qualifying the Regional Language Test. Merely satisfying the eligibility norms do not entitle a candidate to be called for Online Examination and Regional Language test.
There will be a Penalty for wrong answers (applicable to both Preliminary and Main Examination)
For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, ¼ th of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. However, no marks will be deducted for unattempted questions.
How to apply: Candidates are required to visit the Bank’s website www.uiic.co.in and fill in the online application which is in a prescribed form. The candidate has to pay the fee and upload the photo along with the signature.
